Graphic Design: Southern Methodist University CAPE, March-November 2017
Hands-on training in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.)
Patterns of the Season: This project was centered around a hypothetical seasonal pattern release for a major stationary company.
I. Using my monogram (MED), I created an abstract 3x3in icon to be used for a pattern repetition. Pattern repetition sizes include 4 tile, 16 tile, and 64 tile.
II. I then manipulated the above icon using different strokes and effects to create three potential logos.
III. I created four distinct invitation options for a pattern unveiling event.
IV. I chose the second invitation option to mirror the colors and fonts present in the patterns themselves. I also previewed the pattern in the invitation packaging.
Animal Image Tracing: I used original illustration/image tracing to create three unique movie posters for a hypothetical hero themed blockbuster.
Trifold Brochure: I created a mock brochure for a local Dallas art gallery's fifth anniversary party.
Computer Aided Textile Design: North Carolina State University, Spring 2015
Combined usage of Lectra Kaledo, Illustrator, and Photoshop
Buddha Babies: I designed and branded a cotton-sateen print for a children's yoga line.
Gypsy Blush: Inspired by the Free People 2015 Spring color scheme, I designed an abstract tie-dye line .
